An Advanced VOF Algorithm for Oil Boom Design

In this paper, an accurate interface convection technique based on the volume-of-fluid (VOF) scheme is presented and the concepts of interface basis and three types of fluxes are introduced to handle two-layer fluid flow in complex geometric situations. The scheme was tested and the results proved to be accurate.
