The reaction of FeBr2 and 1 equiv of thallium tris(4,4-dimethyl-2-oxazolinyl)phenylborate (TlToM) in THF provides ToMFeBr (1), whereas FeBr2 and 2 equiv of TlToM react to give (ToM)2Fe (2). Two νCN bands at 1604 and 1548 cm-1 indicated bidentate coordination of ToM to iron in 2.

Silyl‐NHC chelate iron complexes with various substituents on NHC were synthesized and demonstrated to be active catalysts for hydroboration and dehydrogenative borylation of olefins. The selectivity of these borylation reactions is significantly controlled by the steric bulk of a substituent on the NHC nitrogen.

The title compound, [Na(μ-C6F5BH3)(C4H8O)2]2, represents a dimeric structure of sodium and organoborohydride, located about a centre of inversion. The Na...B distances of 2.7845 (19) and 2.7494 (18) Å were apparently longer than the Li...B distances (2.403–2.537 Å) of the lithium organotrihydroborates in the previous reports.

Abstract Changes in wave climate can impact coastal zones by altering the sediment supplied to coastal compartments via longshore sediment transport (LST). Estimating these changes is challenging, and biases and uncertainty in wave climate projections contribute to uncertainty in LST and morphological change projections.
