IL‐1β upregulates the protein level of WTAP, which promotes the m6A modification of ACSL4 mRNA in an IGF2BP2‐dependent manner, thereby enhancing its stability. The increased ACSL4 drives lipid peroxidation, leading to lysosomal membrane permeabilization (LMP) and impaired mitophagy, which collectively accelerate intervertebral disc degeneration (IVDD).

Optimized freeze‐drying and eosin staining deliver artifact‐free micro‐CT images of liver tissue at near‐histological detail, then hand the same specimen back for sectioning, staining, and sequencing. Fibrotic volume distinguishes normal liver from cirrhosis, while preserved RNA reveals inflammatory gene upregulation—one biopsy, three dimensions, and a

A concept of integrated O2 and H2 gas therapy is achieved using a gas‐producing material. PMP nanoparticles, fabricated from platinum, MIL‐101(Fe)‐NH2, and phosphotungstic acid, are integrated into bilayer gelatin methacryloyl microneedles for transdermal delivery. These microneedles enable integrated O2 and H2 gas therapy and promote wound healing via

This graphical abstract illustrates how chaperone‐mediated autophagy (CMA) regulates intervertebral disc degeneration (IDD). Under normal homeostasis (B), CMA degrades cytoplasmic Midnolin (MIDN) to maintain proteostasis. Under inflammatory stress (A), impaired CMA leads to cytoplasmic MIDN accumulation.

BNC2 exhibits context‐dependent opposing functions across multiple cancer types. This study reveals BNC2 as an oncogenic driver of melanoma proliferation and metastasis through transcriptional activation of PIK3CA. The natural compound TSN simultaneously degrades BNC2 and its oncogenic partner SMAD3 via CRBN‐dependent ubiquitination.

Borderline tumor of the ovary (BOT) is an epithelial tumor with a low rate of growth and a low potential to invade or metastasize. This tumor often is associated with a significantly better prognosis than epithelial ovarian cancer. Most tumors are either serous or mucinous in histology and present as early stage lesions. However, stage III lesions with

Ninety-four patients with borderline ovarian tumors were retrospectively analyzed for clinical features, treatments, and survival characteristics. There were 46 patients with FIGO stage IA cancer, 7 with stage IB, 20 with stage IC, 4 with stage IIB, 5 with stage IIC, 5 with stage IIIA, 3 with stage IIIB, and 4 with stage IIIC tumors.

Surgery in advanced borderline tumors
Fertility and Sterility, 2010Our retrospective study evaluates the role of conservative surgery, performed in 10 of 22 patients affected by advanced stage serous borderline ovarian tumor. Although patients who underwent conservative surgery had a higher recurrence rate (60% after conservative surgery and 8% after radical surgery), all patients are alive without evidence of disease.

Serous Borderline Tumors of the Peritoneum
The American Journal of Surgical Pathology, 1990The clinicopathological features of 25 cases of peritoneal serous neoplasms histologically identical to noninvasive implants of ovarian serous borderline tumors but with minimal or no ovarian surface involvement were reviewed. The patients ranged in age from 19 to 53 (mean, 31) years; 18 of them were under 35 years of age.

Epidemiology of Borderline Ovarian Tumors
JNCI: Journal of the National Cancer Institute, 1987Ovarian tumors of low malignant potential, often termed "borderline tumors," have been defined as those that have some but not all of the morphologic features of malignancy (i.e., they are not invasive). With the use of data obtained by the western Washington population-based Cancer Surveillance System for 1975-83, the incidence of serous and mucinous ...
