IS BOREDOM PRONENESS ASSOCIATED WITH INTROSPECTIVENESS?

Social Behavior and Personality: an international journal, 2000
The relationship between boredom proneness and introspectiveness among a sample of French adults (N = 154) was investigated). The results indicated that highly boredom-prone individuals are also prone to increased introspectiveness. PSYCHOMETRIC PROPERTIES OF THE BOREDOM PRONENESS SCALE

Perceptual and Motor Skills, 1990
A factor analysis of the data from 154 subjects answering Farmer and Sundberg's (1986) boredom proneness scale allowed estimates of reliability and construct validity and the identification of two independent factors, apathy and inattention. A Confirmatory Factor Analysis of the Boredom Proneness Scale

The Journal of Psychology, 2009
Researchers have extensively investigated the factor structure of the Boredom Proneness Scale (BPS; R. Farmer & N. D. Sundberg, 1986) using exploratory factor analyses (EFAs), with inconsistent methodology and results. Thus, the purpose of the present study was to perform confirmatory factor analyses on the BPS to better determine the nature and extent
