A duality for prescribed mean curvature graphs in Riemannian and Lorentzian Killing submersions
Abstract We develop a conformal duality for space‐like graphs in Riemannian and Lorentzian three‐manifolds that admit a Riemannian submersion over a Riemannian surface whose fibers are the integral curves of a Killing vector field, which is time‐like in the Lorentzian case.

Noncommutative Dirac-Born-Infeld Action for D-brane
We derive the noncommutative Dirac-Born-Infeld action for the $D$-brane, which governs dynamics of $D$-brane with a NS-NS $B$-field in the low energy regime.

String Theory Explanation of Galactic Rotation Found Using the Geodesic Constraint
The unique spherically symmetric metric which has vanishing Weyl tensor, is asymptotically de‐Sitter, and can model constant galactic rotation curves is presented. Two types of field equations are shown to have this metric as an exact solution. The first is Palatini varied scalar‐tensor theory.

A non-abelian analogue of DBI from $T \overline{T}$
The Dirac action describes the physics of the Nambu-Goldstone scalars found on branes. The Born-Infeld action defines a non-linear theory of electrodynamics. The combined Dirac-Born-Infeld (DBI) action describes the leading interactions supported on a

We discuss possible application of the classical double copy procedure to construction of a generalisation of the Schwarzschild metric starting from an α′-corrected open string analogue of the Coulomb solution.

Remarks on the interaction between Born-Infeld solitons
We consider the Abelian Higgs model as well as the SU(2) Georgi-Glashow model in which the gauge field action is replaced by a non linear Born-Infeld action.

Accelerated Born-Infeld Metrics in Kerr-Schild Geometry [PDF]
We consider Einstein Born-Infeld theory with a null fluid in Kerr-Schild Geometry. We find accelerated charge solutions of this theory. Our solutions reduce to the Plebanski solution when the acceleration vanishes and to the Bonnor-Vaidya solution as the
