Study on the performance of NiO modified nano-porous Ag electrocatalytic oxidation of sodium borohydride

open access: yesXi'an Gongcheng Daxue xuebao, 2023
In order to improve the catalytic efficiency of metal catalysts for borohydride fuel cells, three-dimensional nano-porous Ag/NiO composite catalysts were prepared by dealloying method, with Al-Ag and Al-Ag-Ni as precursor alloys.

Borohydride Oxidation at a Gold Electrode [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of The Electrochemical Society, 1992
The multistage process of borohydride oxidation in an 8 e - reaction to borate at a Au electrode has been studied by means of fast-scan cyclic voltammetry (CV) and scanning electrochemical microscopy (SECM). The total irreversibility of this process observed previously is shown to be a result of the presence of very unstable intermediates.

Aggregation of Modified Glucuronoxylan in Water and DMSO. [PDF]

open access: yesBiopolymers
Neutron scattering study of dispersibility of glucuronoxylan and modified glucuronoxylan, in water and dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO). ABSTRACT Glucuronoxylans are known to be only partly soluble in aqueous media. Chemical modification often aims to improve solubility, yet observations of aggregation even of the modified xylans are not uncommon.
