Boron-doped diamond electrodes for carbofuran electrochemical degradation

open access: yesRevista Brasileira de Aplicações de Vácuo, 2016
Boron-doped diamond electrodes were produced on titanium substrate by Hot Filament Chemical Vapor Deposition reactor for electrochemical degradation of carbofuran pesticide. The morphological and structural characterizations of the electrodes were evaluated by Scanning Electron Microscopy and by Raman scattering Spectroscopy techniques.

Effect of sp2 species in a boron-doped diamond electrode on the electrochemical reduction of CO2

open access: yesElectrochemistry Communications, 2020
The effect of sp2 carbon within a boron-doped diamond (BDD) electrode on the electrochemical reduction of CO2 is investigated for the first time. With increasing sp2 content, the Faradaic efficiency for the production of hydrogen (H2) under constant ...

Novel approach to produce 3D boron-doped diamond for pollutant removal from water

open access: yesCarbon Trends
Diamond growth from Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) on foreign substrates can require different pretreatment not only to improve the film nucleation but also to assure its adhesion by decreasing the expected film/substrate interface stress.

Electrochemical Oxidation of Benzoic Acid on Boron Doped Diamond Electrodes

open access: yesPortugaliae Electrochimica Acta, 2001
The electrochemical oxidation of benzoic acid (BA) has been studied on boron-doped diamond electrodes on acid medium by cyclic voltammetry and bulk electrolysis. The results showed that in the potential region where the supporting electrolyte is stable, reactions occur, resulting in the loss of activity due to electrode fouling.
