In Situ Amine Formation to Modulate MOF‐Derived PdIn N‐Doped Carbon Catalysts
An amine‐assisted approach converts PdIn‐MOF into PdIn intermetallic nanoparticles embedded in N‐doped carbon. In situ‐generated amines trigger early Pd nucleation, producing smaller PdIn domains than direct pyrolysis. Amine sterics and basicity tune composition and particle size, while solvent and amine co‐determine textural features.

Hollow boron nitride nanospheres as boron reservoir for prostate cancer treatment [PDF]
High global incidence of prostate cancer has led to a focus on prevention and treatment strategies to reduce the impact of this disease in public health. Boron compounds are increasingly recognized as preventative and chemotherapeutic agents.

Sub‐Nanometer Curvature Unlocks Quantum Orbital Flexoelectricity in Graphene
In self‐assembled, reproducible, large‐area, quasi‐pristine graphene nanowrinkles, extreme curvature forces out‐of‐plane π‐electrons toward hybridization, driving a transition from classical to quantum orbital flexoelectricity. As curvature approaches the fundamental physical limit set by the C─C bond length, the resulting polarization increases by ...

Chemically activated boron nitride nanotubes
Functionalizing nanotubes: An easy method is developed to functionalize boron nitride nanotubes. Hydrogen peroxide is used to oxidize the surface of pristine BN nanotubes to get hydroxylated BN nanotubes, which are chemically active for further ...

Signatures of Edge States in Antiferromagnetic Van der Waals Josephson Junctions
ABSTRACT The combination of superconductivity and magnetic textures leads to unconventional superconducting phenomena, including new correlated and topological phases. Van der Waals (vdW) materials emerge as a versatile platform for exploring the interplay between these two competing orders.

Evaluation of Boron Nitride Nanotubes and Hexagonal Boron Nitrides As Nanocarriers for Cancer Drugs
Boron nitride nanotubes (BNNTs) and hexagonal boron nitrides (hBNs) are novel nanostructures with high mechanical strengths, large surface areas and excellent biocompatibilities. Here, the potential use of BNNTs and hBNs as nanocarriers was comparatively investigated for use with cancer drugs.Doxorubicin (Dox) and folate are used as model drugs and ...
