Nanolayer‐Encapsulated Stretchable Liquid‐Metal Sheets for Thermal Management

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A stretchable liquid metal sheet with both high thermal conductivity and mechanical flexibility is developed. Its trilayer structure, comprising copper‐particle‐dispersed gallium liquid metal encapsulated by styrene‐butadiene‐styrene nanosheets, shows 40.4 W m−1 K−1 conductivity, elongation exceeding 200%, and retention of 96% of its initial ...

Boronic acid inhibitors of penicillin-binding protein 1b: serine and lysine labelling agents

open access: yesJournal of Enzyme Inhibition and Medicinal Chemistry
Penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs) contribute to bacterial cell wall biosynthesis and are targets of antibacterial agents. Here, we investigated PBP1b inhibition by boronic acid derivatives.

Regioselective suzuki coupling on pyridinium N-(3,5-dibromoheteroar-2-yl)aminides [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
A regioselective Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling reaction on 3',5'-dibromo pyridinium N-(2'-azinyl)aminides is reported. A series of 3'-aryl(or heteroaryl)-5-bromo-pyridinium N-(2'-pirazinyl)aminides were obtained in good yields.

Novel Functional Materials via 3D Printing by Vat Photopolymerization

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This Perspective systematically analyzes strategies for incorporating functionalities into 3D‐printed materials via Vat Photopolymerization (VP). It explores the spectrum of achievable functionalities in recently reported novel materials—such as conductive, energy‐storing, biodegradable, stimuli‐responsive, self‐healing, shape‐memory, biomaterials, and

Copper-Catalyzed Borylation of Cyclic Sulfamidates:Access to Enantiomerically Pure (β-and γ-Amino-alkyl)boronic Esters [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
Cyclic sulfamidates undergo borylation under copper‐catalyzed conditions using B(2)pin(2) to give enantiomerically (and diasteromerically) defined (aminoalkyl)boronic esters.

Dual‐Site Ru Single‐Atoms and RuP Nanoclusters on N, P, and B Co‐Doped Porous Carbon for Efficient Alkaline HER and AEM Water Electrolysis

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Ru single atoms and RuP nanoclusters are co‐anchored in N, P, and B co‐doped porous carbon nanospheres via in situ carbonization/phosphidation of a boronate polymer precursor. RuP activates water, while nearby Ru single atoms accelerate H2 formation through H* transfer. The catalyst delivers low overpotential and high durability in alkaline HER and AEM

Axial shielding of Pd(II) complexes enables perfect stereoretention in Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling of Csp3 boronic acids

open access: yesNature Communications, 2019
Despite the progress in C(sp3) cross-coupling reactions, full control over the stereochemistry remains a challenge. Here, the authors show that phosphine-containing axially shielded Pd(II) complexes enable Suzuki-Miyaura cross-couplings of unactivated C ...
