Event-shape and multiplicity dependence of freeze-out radii in pp collisions at s $$ \sqrt{s} $$ = 7 TeV

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2019
Two-particle correlations in high-energy collision experiments enable the extraction of particle source radii by using the Bose-Einstein enhancement of pion production at low relative momentum q ∝ 1/R.

Study of the Bose-Einstein correlations of same-sign pions in proton-lead collisions

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2023
Correlations of same-sign charged pions are analysed using proton-lead collision data collected by the LHCb experiment at a nucleon-nucleon centre-of-mass energy of 5.02 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1.06 nb −1.

Some forgotten features of the Bose Einstein Correlations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
Notwithstanding the visible maturity of the subject of Bose-Einstein Correlations (BEC), as witnessed nowadays, we would like to bring to ones attention two points, which apparently did not received attention they deserve: the problem of the choice of ...

Strong Plasmon–Exciton Coupling Tuned by Corner Etching of Gold Nanocubes and Nanotriangles

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, Volume 14, Issue 18, 15 May 2026.
Systematic etching of gold nanocubes (AuNCs) and nanotriangles (AuNTs) reveals how nanoparticle morphology governs plasmon–exciton strong coupling. While rounding the corners of AuNCs weakens their coupling, triangular geometries robustly preserve deep strong coupling.

Bose-Einstein correlations and results on minimum bias interactions, underlying event and particle production from ATLAS

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2016
The report on the recent results of soft-QCD with the ATLAS experiment at the LHC is presented. The effect of space-time geometry in the hadronization phase has been studied in the context of Bose-Einstein correlations between charged particles, for ...

Bose-Einstein correlations in WW events at LEP [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
The current status of the LEP results on Bose-Einstein correlations is discussed. Emphasis is given to the measurement of Bose-Einstein correlations between decay products from different W's, in an energy range between 172 and 209 GeV, dependent on the ...

Generating quantum discord between two distant Bose-Einstein condensates with Bell-like detection

open access: yes, 2015
We propose a technique that enables the creation of quantum discord between two distant nodes, each containing a cavity consist of the Bose-Einstein condensate, by applying a non-ideal Bell-like detection on the output modes of optical cavities.

Spectrally Tunable 2D Material‐Based Infrared Photodetectors for Intelligent Optoelectronics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 36, Issue 27, 2 April 2026.
Intelligent optoelectronics through spectral engineering of 2D material‐based infrared photodetectors. Abstract The evolution of intelligent optoelectronic systems is driven by artificial intelligence (AI). However, their practical realization hinges on the ability to dynamically capture and process optical signals across a broad infrared (IR) spectrum.

Nonequilibrium dynamics and atom-pair coherence in strongly interacting Bose-Fermi mixtures

open access: yesPhysical Review Research
Theoretical treatments of nonequilibrium dynamics in strongly interacting Bose-Fermi mixtures are complicated by the inherent non-Gaussian nature of the vacuum two-body physics, invalidating the typical Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov approximation.

Polaron Problems in Ultracold Atoms: Role of a Fermi Sea across Different Spatial Dimensions and Quantum Fluctuations of a Bose Medium

open access: yesAtoms, 2021
The notion of a polaron, originally introduced in the context of electrons in ionic lattices, helps us to understand how a quantum impurity behaves when being immersed in and interacting with a many-body background.
