Temporal evolution of cosmological density perturbations of the Bose–Einstein condensate dark matter
Dark matter is assumed to be composed of scalar boson particles that form Bose–Einstein condensate during the cosmic evolution of the Universe when the temperature of the dark matter is below the critical temperature $$T_{cr}$$ T cr .

Thermo-optical interactions in a dye-microcavity photon Bose–Einstein condensate
Superfluidity and Bose–Einstein condensation are usually considered as two closely related phenomena. Indeed, in most macroscopic quantum systems, like liquid helium, ultracold atomic Bose gases, and exciton-polaritons, condensation and superfluidity ...

Generation of Anisotropic Second‐Harmonic Petal‐Like Beams with NbOBr2 Holograms
Highly anisotropic second‐harmonic petal‐like beams with different combinations of the topological charges of vortex beams are produced using ultrathin NbOBr2 holograms. These demonstrations provide a pathway toward the development of chip‐scale polarization‐sensitive functional optical devices for many applications.

Coexistence of photonic and atomic Bose-Einstein condensates in ideal atomic gases
We have studied conditions of photon Bose-Einstein condensate formation that is in thermodynamic equilibrium with ideal gas of two-level Bose atoms below the degeneracy temperature.

Long‐Range Exciton Energy Transfer in Two‐Dimensional Materials
This review highlights recent advances in long‐range exciton energy transfer within planar 2D‐material architectures. It emphasizes the emergence of self‐hybridized excitonpolaritons, exciton coupling to surface plasmon polaritons and plasmonic lattices, and the role of dipoledipole transfer pathways in enabling efficient nanoscale energy transport ...

Dynamics of bright solitary matter-waves [PDF]
This thesis describes the formation of a 85Rb Bose-Einstein condensate and the subsequent creation of a bright solitary matter-wave in a quasi-one-dimensional optical waveguide, with experiments investigating the dynamics of a solitary wave in comparison

Bose-Einstein condensation in a magnetic lattice
This thesis reports the realization of Bose-Einstein condensation (BEC) of 87Rb F=1 atoms in multiple sites of a one-dimensional 10 μm-periods magnetic lattice.
