The Nambu‐Goto theory of closed bosonic strings moving in 1 + 3–dimensional Minkowski space: the construction of the quantum algebra of observables up to degree five [PDF]
The quantum algebra of observables of closed bosonic strings moving in 1 + 3–dimensional Minkowski space is constructed up to degree five. All independent relations of degree four are computed; they involve three as yet undetermined parameters ...

Positivity of the Veneziano amplitude in D = 4
The Veneziano amplitude was put forward as a solution to the axioms of the S-matrix bootstrap. However, unitarity, reflected in the positivity of the coefficients in the Gegenbauer expansion of the amplitude is not obvious.

We discuss some aspects of symmetry breakings in string theories. We mainly focus on the algebra of bosonic strings, but suspect similar ideas may be used for superstring theories. We point out a curious relation between the partition function of certain bosonic string theories and superstring theories.

The Coon amplitude is a q-deformed generalization of the Veneziano amplitude exhibiting a semi-infinite sequence of poles that converge on an accumulation point, from which a branch cut emerges. A number of recent papers have provided compelling evidence

Higher-spin Realisations of the Bosonic String [PDF]
It has been shown that certain $W$ algebras can be linearised by the inclusion of a spin--1 current. This provides a way of obtaining new realisations of the $W$ algebras.

On the covariant quantization of tensionless bosonic strings in AdS spacetime [PDF]
The covariant quantization of the tensionless free bosonic (open and closed) strings in AdS spaces is obtained. This is done by representing the AdS space as an hyperboloid in a flat auxiliary space and by studying the resulting string constrained ...

Pinching parameters for open (super) strings
We present an approach to the parametrization of (super) Schottky space obtained by sewing together three-punctured discs with strips. Different cubic ribbon graphs classify distinct sets of pinching parameters; we show how they are mapped onto each ...

Canonical analysis of new non-relativistic string action and uniform light-cone gauge formulation
We perform canonical analysis of new non-relativistic string action that was found recently in [32]. We also discuss its gauge fixed form.
