Ambient Vibration Measurements of the Bosphorus Suspension Bridge by Total Station and GPS
Experimental Techniques, 2011 Traffic and wind excitations have been used to obtain the dynamic characteristics of the Bosphorus Suspension Bridge in Istanbul, Turkey. Ambient vibration measurements (AVMs) on the bridge deck were obtained using the Total Station (TS) in 2003 and the Global Positioning System (GPS) in 2005.

From refugia to contact: Pine processionary moth hybrid zone in a complex biogeographic setting. [PDF]
Ecol Evol, 2020 In this study, we show evidences of natural hybridization between two pine processionary moth species in Turkey by using mitochondrial and nuclear markers. We found asymmetric hybridization in a limited zone and tried to explain how the complex geographic history of the region might contribute to the observed genetic pattern.
