A novel bubbling fluid bed reactor for the autothermal pyrolysis of waste plastics
Abstract A new pilot‐scale fluidized bed reactor operated under continuous conditions was developed and tested for the thermal pyrolysis of high‐density polyethylene (HDPE). The study focused on assessing the reliability and operability of the system under different operating conditions (400–550°C), while monitoring mass and energy balances, product ...

The utilization of biomass bottom ashes in cement system
By producing 1 ton of Portland cement clinker in environment releasing about 0.85 tons of CO2: 70% of limestone decarbanization and 30% of electricity and thermal consumption. High specific CO2 emissions results take the responsibility of Portland cement industry for about 5% of global CO2 emissions.

The addition of Na2CO3 or K2CO3 to sewage sludge prior to combustion leads to the production of ashes containing phosphate in the form of buchwaldite‐like phases (Ca(Na/K)PO4). Compared to conventional sewage sludge mono‐ashes, such Na‐ or K‐ashes show greatly increased P‐solubilities and proved to be potent P‐fertiliser materials in greenhouse ...

Based on the 90 datasets, ERT and four optimization algorithms were used to build four hybrid models to predict the UCS of the backfill body. The SMA‐ERT model was the most effective model, and it can reliably guide the design of the backfill ratio parameters. Abstract This study analyzed the feasibility of using titanium (Ti) tailings as a backfilling
