Density in Bouguer anomalies and its consequences

Journal of Applied Geophysics, 1994
Abstract Bouguer anomalies are usually calculated considering the zones above sea level as masses with constant density, or varying according to the density of the outcropping rocks. This paper examines the density-induced errors which can result when calculating the Bouguer anomaly in areas of complex geology and morphology.
