BOUGUER ANOMALY MAP OF CANADA

Cartographica: The International Journal for Geographic Information and Geovisualization, 1977
Some 350,000 gravity observations have been compiled, edited and contoured by an automated computer procedure to produce a two colour edition of the Bouguer Anomaly Map of Canada. The intervals between gravity stations varied from a few hundred meters to a few tens of kilometers.

The theory of the Bouguer gravity anomaly: A tutorial

The Leading Edge, 1996
Although the corrections which bring about a Bouguer gravity anomaly are well established, the reasons for doing them are not well understood. One cause of this common misunderstanding is that the subject has been poorly presented in many of the basic texts. This claim was quantified by T.R.

Geology and Bouguer gravity anomalies of the Gulf of Tonkin and vicinity

Energy, 1981
Abstract Outcrops of rock types around the Gulf of Tonkin range in age from Cambrian to Recent. The basement complex of the Gulf of Tonkin consists of Carboniferous carbonates and Lower Paleozoic metamorphic rocks. The Gulf of Tonkin and vicinity are comprised of three tectonic units: 1. (1) the Caledonian South China-North Vietnam Foldbelt, 2.

Bouguer gravity anomalies for terrain modeling

Journal of Applied Science and Technology, 2012
Gravity anomalies have been applied in geodesy to determine the geoid, and the associated composition and crustal properties of the earth. Applications of solution of the gravity inversion problems include the study of crustal dynamics as a result of the extraction of fluids in the form of oil, gas and water from subsidence-prone sedimentary rock ...
