A case study of HF radar spectral width in the post midnight magnetic local time sector and its relationship to the polar cap boundary [PDF]
International audienceThe aim of this paper is to advance the current understanding of the spectral width parameter observed by coherent high frequency (HF) radars. In particular, we address the relationship of a frequently observed gradient, between low

Mechanically Programmable DNA Hydrogel Microparticles for 3D Cellular Systems
DNA hydrogel microparticles are designed to exhibit controllable viscoelasticity and stiffness across three orders of magnitude from 30Pa$30 \,\mathrm{Pa}$ to 6.5kPa$6.5 \,\mathrm{kPa}$. They are uptaken into fibroblast spheroids where they are actively remodeled by cellular forces depending on their mechanical properties.

Skipping the Boundary Layer: High-Speed Droplet-Based Immunoassay Using Rayleigh Acoustic Streaming
Acoustic mixing of droplets is a promising way to implement biosensors that combine high speed and minimal reagent consumption. To date, this type of droplet mixing is driven by a volume force resulting from the absorption of high-frequency acoustic ...

Some spectral properties of the streaming operator with general boundary conditions [PDF]
summary:This paper deals with the spectral study of the streaming operator with general boundary conditions defined by means of a boundary operator $K$. We study the positivity and the irreducibility of the generated semigroup proved in [M.
