A new method for transformation of domain integrals to boundary integrals in boundary element method

The paper develops a new technique for transferring 2D and 3D domain integrals in the boundary element method to the boundary. The method utilizes radial basis functions as in the dual reciprocity method (DRM) to approximate the body force term. AbstractIn this paper, the reciprocal work theorem for viscous fluid flow is established for Newtonian fluids and, based on this theorem, a set of boundary‐domain integral equations is derived from the continuity and momentum equations for two‐dimensional viscous flows.
