A Boundary Value Problem for Bihypermonogenic Functions in Clifford Analysis
This paper deals with a nonlinear boundary value problem for bihypermonogenic functions in Clifford analysis. The integrals of quasi-Cauchy’s type and Plemelj formula for bihypermonogenic functions are firstly reviewed briefly.

Design of quadrature rules for Müntz and Müntz-logarithmic polynomials using monomial transformation [PDF]
A method for constructing the exact quadratures for Müntz and Müntz-logarithmic polynomials is presented. The algorithm does permit to anticipate the precision (machine precision) of the numerical integration of Müntz-logarithmic polynomials in terms of ...

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

Localized boundary-domain integral formulations for problems with variable coefficients
Specially constructed localized parametrixes are used in this paper instead of a fundamental solution to reduce a boundary value problem with variable coefficients to a localized boundary-domain integral or integro-differential equation (LBDIE or LBDIDE).

A Boundary Theorem for Tsuji Functions [PDF]
Let D denote the unit disc | z | <1, C the unit circle | z | = 1 and Cr the circle | z| = r. Corresponding to any function w(z) meromorphic in D we denote by w*(z) the spherical derivative

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

Based on the construction of certain upper and sub-solutions, the boundary behavior of positive boundary blow-up solutions to elliptic systems are obtained, here the singular weight functions b1(x),b2(x) are permitted to be bounded in some parts of the ...
