Quantum search on bounded-error inputs
. Suppose we have n algorithms, quantum or classical, each computing some bit-value with bounded error probability. We describe a quantum algorithm that uses O ( √ n) repetitions of the base algorithms and with high probability finds the index of a 1 ...

Noisy Low-Tubal-Rank Tensor Completion Through Iterative Singular Tube Thresholding
In many applications, data organized in tensor form contains noise and missing entries. In this paper, the goal is to complete a tensor from its partial noisy observations.

Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...

Finding Lines under Bounded Error [PDF]
A new algorithm for finding straight lines in images under a bounded error model is described. The algorithm is based on a hierarchical and adaptive subdivision of the space of line parameters.

Term Filtering with Bounded Error [PDF]
In this paper, we consider a novel problem referred to as term filtering with bounded error to reduce the term (feature) space by eliminating terms without (or with bounded) information loss. Different from existing works, the obtained term space provides a complete view of the original term space. More interestingly, several important questions can be

Somatic mutational landscape in von Hippel–Lindau familial hemangioblastoma
The causes of central nervous system (CNS) hemangioblastoma in Von Hippel–Lindau (vHL) disease are unclear. We used Whole Exome Sequencing (WES) on familial hemangioblastoma to investigate events that underlie tumor development. Our findings suggest that VHL loss creates a permissive environment for tumor formation, while additional alterations ...

Using polyhedral models to automatically sketch idealized geometry for structural analysis [PDF]
Simplification of polyhedral models, which may incorporate large numbers of faces and nodes, is often required to reduce their amount of data, to allow their efficient manipulation, and to speed up computation.

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

Robust beamforming design for passive RIS‐assisted NOMA systems
A transmission power minimization problem for a reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) aided non‐orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) network has been studied here, which has assumed the channel state information is imperfect.

This paper focuses on a class of fractional-order systems with state delays and studies the design problem of the finite-time bounded tracking controller. The error system method in preview control theory is first used.
