We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Exact Formulae for Degree Distance Indices of Sum Graphs
The degree distance index (DDI) is a vertex-degree weighted version of a well-known index that is called by Wiener index (WI). In extremal theory of graphs, improving the bounds with best possible values is a worth investigating problem.

Adaptive detection with bounded steering vectors mismatch angle [PDF]
We address the problem of detecting a signal of interest (SOI), using multiple observations in the primary data, in a background of noise with unknown covariance matrix.

Structural and biochemical characterisations show that the planar cell polarity (PCP) protein Inturned harbours a unique PDZ‐like domain that does not bind canonical PDZ‐binding motifs (PBMs) like that of another PCP protein Vangl2. In contrast, the apical‐basal polarity protein Scribble contains four PDZ domains that bind Vangl2, but one PDZ domain ...

For functions analytic in the unit polydisc with bounded $L$-index in a direction there are presented three various results. The product theorem specifies that the product of analytic functions of bounded $L$-index in direction belongs to the same class.

On σ-nil ideals of bounded index of σ-nilpotence
We investigate properties of σ-nil subsets with bounded index of σ-nilpotence, beginning with a classification of many of the possible types of nilpotence available in the σ-skewed case. In the process we introduce a σ-analog of the bounded nilradical of

Zero-Index Bound States in the Continuum
Metamaterials with an effective zero refractive index associated to their electromagnetic response are sought for a number of applications in communications and nonlinear optics. A promising way that this can be achieved in all-dielectric photonic crystals is through the design of a Dirac cone at zero Bloch wave-vector in the photonic band structure ...

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.
