A collection of seminorms linking the
We investigate a novel operator seminorm, QA,mλ,f, for an A-bounded operator Q, where A is a positive operator on a complex Hilbert space (K,⟨·,·⟩).

Graphs of bounded cliquewidth are polynomially $χ$-bounded [PDF]
We prove that if $\mathcal{C}$ is a hereditary class of graphs that is polynomially $\chi$-bounded, then the class of graphs that admit decompositions into pieces belonging to $\mathcal{C}$ along cuts of bounded rank is also polynomially $\chi$-bounded.

A Bibliometric Analysis of Publications in Uremic Toxins From 1991 to 2024
ABSTRACT Background Uremic toxins are a growing area of research in nephrology, with significant implications in the progression and treatment of chronic kidney disease (CKD) and the management of end‐stage kidney disease (ESKD). This bibliometric analysis aims to evaluate the global research trends, key contributors, and the impact of publications in ...

An Improved Bound on (A+A)/(A+A)
We show that, for a finite set $A$ of real numbers, the size of the set$$\frac{A+A}{A+A} = \left\{ \frac{a+b}{c+d} : a,b,c,d \in A, c+d \neq 0 \right \}$$is bounded from below by$$\left|\frac{A+A}{A+A} \right| \gg \frac{|A|^{2+1/4}}{|A / A|^{1/8} \log |A|}.$$This improves a result of Roche-Newton (2016).

On bounded functions with bounded 𝑛th differences [PDF]
We consider real valued functions f defined in a closed interval I (bounded or unbounded), with nth differences $$ \Delta _{h}^{n}f(x) = \sum\limits_{i} {{{{( - 1)}}^{{n - i}}}} \left( {\begin{array}{*{20}{c}} n \\ i \\ \end{array} } \right)f(x + ih) $$ bounded for some fixed n.

Decay of a bound muon to a bound electron [PDF]
When a muon bound in an atom decays, there is a small probability that the daughter electron remains bound. That probability is evaluated. Surprisingly, a significant part of the rate is contributed by the negative energy component of the wave function, neglected in a previous study. A simple integral representation of the rate is presented.

ABSTRACT Background Chronic limb‐threatening ischemia (CLTI) is a severe form of lower‐extremity artery disease characterized by distal lesions and microcirculatory impairment, limiting revascularization efficacy. Rheocarna is a direct hemoperfusion low‐density lipoprotein (LDL) adsorption device with potential rheological and anti‐inflammatory ...

Improved sensitivity bounds for mediation under unmeasured mediator–outcome confounding
It is often of interest to decompose a total effect into an indirect effect, relayed through a particular mediator, and a direct effect. However, these effect components are not identified if there are unmeasured confounding of the mediator and the ...

In this paper, our objective is to apply a new approach to establish bounds of sums of left and right proportional fractional integrals of a general type and obtain some related inequalities. From the obtained results, we deduce some new inequalities for

Enteropathogenic E. coli (EPEC) infects the human intestinal epithelium, resulting in severe illness and diarrhoea. In this study, we compared the infection of cancer‐derived cell lines with human organoid‐derived models of the small intestine. We observed a delayed in attachment, inflammation and cell death on primary cells, indicating that host ...
