The replication and expression of bovine viral diarrhoea virus

The noncytopathic Australian bovine viral diarrhoea virus (BVDV) Trangie isolate was used to establish a one-step growth curve and to investigate previously uncharacterised aspects of pestivirus replication. The regions of the genome corresponding to the 5'UTR and the NS3 gene of BVDV were amplified by RT-PCR and then cloned and sequenced.
