Sorption studies of europium on cerium phosphate using Box-Behnken design

open access: yesTURKISH JOURNAL OF CHEMISTRY, 2020
Amorphous cerium phosphate was prepared and characterized. Three-level Box-Behnken design (BBD) was employed to analyze the effect of process variables such as initial pH (2-6), contact time (60-180 min), and sorbent amount (0.05-0.15 g) on the sorption capacity of europium.

OPTIMIZATION OF MEDIUM COMPOSITIONS FOR SACCHAROMYCES BOULARDII BY BOX-BEHNKEN DESIGN

open access: yesScientific Study & Research: Chemistry & Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Food Industry, 2016
Based on the previous experimental results, the Box-Behnken design (BBD) was employed to study the individual and interactive effects of sucrose, malt extract, calf serum and sodium citrate on the growth of Saccharomyces boulardii, and the optimum medium

Adsorption Performance of Acidic Modified Fly Ash: Box–Behnken design

open access: yesJournal of the Turkish Chemical Society Section A: Chemistry
Fly ash (FA) and modified fly ash (mFA) were used as adsorbents to remove methylene blue (MB) dye from aqueous solutions. The adsorbents were characterized using crystal structures with XRD, surface functional groups with FTIR, and surface morphologies with SEM.
