Determination of Alendronate Sodium by Box-Behnken Statistical Design

Chromatographia, 2010
Spectrophotometric and LC methods have been developed and validated for the analysis of alendronate sodium in tablet dosage forms. Methods were based on reaction of the primary amino group of alendronate with ninhydrin reagent in methanolic solution of sodium bicarbonate.

Box–Behnken Designs and Their Applications in Pharmaceutical Product Development

2021
Box–Behnken designs (BBDs) are the very efficient response surface design which provides information exclusively on the effect of experiment variables and overall experimental error in a minimum number of required runs. These designs possess very good symmetry and rotatability and also produce minimal experimental runs, as compared to the popular CCD ...

Some new augmented fractional Box–Behnken designs

Communications in Statistics - Theory and Methods, 2016
ABSTRACTThe augmented Box–Behnken designs are used in the situations in which Box–Behnken designs (BBDs) could not estimate the response surface model due to the presence of third-order terms in the response surface models. These designs are too large for experimental use.

OPTIMISATION OF REACTIVE DYE DEGRADATION BY LACCASE USING BOX–BEHNKEN DESIGN

Environmental Technology, 2008
A three-level Box-Behnken factorial design with three factors and the Response Surface Methodology were used to optimise the colour removal of the reactive textile dye, Colour Index (C.I.) reactive red 180, by commercial laccase. A mathematical model was developed to study the effect of temperature, pH, enzyme concentration and their interactions on ...

Application of response surface methodology with a Box–Behnken design for struvite precipitation

Advanced Powder Technology, 2019
Abstract Struvite crystals were precipitated by the reaction of magnesium chloride hexahydrate and ammonium dihydrogen phosphate using different concentrations of citric acid as the additive (100, 300, and 500 ppm). The structure, morphology, functional groups and particle size of the crystals were evaluated experimentally by scanning electron ...

Batch Grinding of Dolomite Using Box-Behnken Design

Journal of Chemical Engineering & Process Technology, 2013
The aim of our research paper was to apply response surface methodology for modeling of grinding Dolomite ore using ball mill with the parameter considering: 1. Time of Grinding. 2. Ball Size. 3. Feed Quantity. 4. Feed Size. Specific energy consumption also decreases with feed quantity at all ball sizes.

Sorption studies of strontium on carbon nanotubes using the Box–Behnken design

Radiochimica Acta, 2014
Abstract Adsorption of Sr on multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) was investigated to explore their possible use as an efficient adsorbent for nuclear waste streams. MWCNTs were purified and oxidized with HNO3 prior to testing adsorption.
