Box Girder Bridge Diaphragms with Openings

Journal of the Structural Division, 1979
The diaphragms considered in this study are of the type frequently met in box girder bridges supported on single slender piers. The outside loads are assumed to be transmitted from the bridge main girders to the inclined (or vertical) surfaces of the diaphragms in the form of uniform shearing forces.

Overview of Precast Segmental Box Girder

2019
This chapter gives updates on the current work for segmental box girder (SBG) under static load test and the measurement to determine the elastic behavior, displacement, stress and strain of the SBG. Moreover, study on finite element analysis (FEA) and transversal slope on SBG is also highlighted in this chapter.

Approximations for moments in box girders - Discussion

1987
Comments to a paper "Approximations for moments in box girders". It regards the approximations for determining the transverse moments, the load conditions and the behavior of the trapezoidal section.
