Bisphenol B Exposure Induces Miscarriage by Suppressing Migration/Invasion and Migrasome Formation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 7, 3 February 2026.
BPB (Bisphenol B) exposure up‐regulates ER (estrogen receptor) levels, enhances its interactions with the lnc‐HZ04 promoter region, and thus promotes ER‐mediated lnc‐HZ04 transcription. Subsequently, lnc‐HZ04 suppresses TCF4 (transcription factor 4)‐mediated PKCA (protein kinase C alpha) transcription and subsequently suppresses migration/invasion and ...

Sabatier‐Adjusted d‐Band Centers of Scalable Asymmetric Iron Sites toward Dynamic Nonradical Network for Fast Mineralization with Low‐Amount Oxidant

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 8, 9 February 2026.
Asymmetric iron single‐atom catalysts with Sabatier‐adjusted d‐band centers overcome the inherent limitations of peroxymonosulfate (PMS) activation by establishing a synergistic nonradical pathway network, achieving exceptional pollutant mineralization (≈85%) at only one‐tenth conventional PMS dosage.

Lifetime risk of incident dementia and incident mild cognitive impairment in older adults

open access: yesAlzheimer's &Dementia, Volume 22, Issue 2, February 2026.
Abstract INTRODUCTION We estimated the lifetime risk of incident dementia and mild cognitive impairment (MCI) from ages 55–105 and examined differences by sex and race. METHODS Data were drawn from five harmonized longitudinal cohort studies at the Rush Alzheimer's Disease Center, including 4611 participants for dementia and 3915 for MCI.

Mortality Through 2021 Among Persons Born With Spina Bifida in Metropolitan Atlanta, 1981–2018

open access: yesBirth Defects Research, Volume 118, Issue 2, February 2026.
ABSTRACT Introduction Information on prevalence, predictors, and causes of mortality is sparse among persons born with spina bifida (SB), especially adults over age 25 years. Methods Individuals with SB born in 1981–2018 were identified in surveillance data from the Metropolitan Atlanta Congenital Defects Program, an active population‐based birth ...
