Spectra and energy levels of Br xxv, Br xxix, Br xxx, and Br xxxi

Journal of the Optical Society of America B, 1986
Emission lines of highly ionized bromine in the wavelength region 17–93 A have been identified in spectra recorded at the University of Rochester’s OMEGA laser facility. The wavelengths of 2s–2p transitions in nitrogenlike Br xxix, carbonlike Br xxx, and boronlike Br xxxi are presented.

The spectra of Br V, Br VI and Br VII

Proceedings of the Physical Society, 1934
The vacuum spark spectra of bromine have been investigated under different degrees of excitation in the region λ 1400 to λ 400, by means of a Siegbahn spectrograph. From a careful scrutiny of the plates the lines have been assigned to the different stages of ionization of the element.

A new polymorph of 1,4-dibromo-2,5-dimethylbenzene: H...Br and Br...πversusBr...Br interactions

Acta Crystallographica Section C Crystal Structure Communications, 2011
A new polymorph, (Ib), of the title compound, C(8)H(8)Br(2), crystallizes in the space group P2(1)/n, the same as the known polymorph (Ia) but with Z = 2 (imposed inversion symmetry) rather than Z = 4. The molecular structures are closely similar because the molecule has no degrees of torsional freedom except for methyl groups, but the packing ...

Mobilities and interaction potentials for Br−–Ar, Br−–Kr, and Br−–Xe

The Journal of Chemical Physics, 1983
Mobilities of Br− ions in Ar, Kr, and Xe gases at 300 K have been measured in a drift tube mass spectrometer over a wide range of E/N (the ratio of the electric field to the neutral gas number density). For any ion–neutral gas interaction potential, implementation of the Viehland–Mason kinetic theory (accurate for arbitrary E/N) yields theoretical ...
