Concept for Reproducible Braking Distance
EuroBrake 2021 Technical Programme, 2021The constant urbanization requires the increase of transport capacities. At the same time, however, the expansion of the rail infrastructure is often only possible with great difficulty, if at all, in densely populated areas. Therefore, a central goal is to increase the utilization of the existing infrastructure.

Brake Distance Calculation of CRH
Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2012With the development of high-speed railway in China, CRH is widely used in railway transportation. Traditional method of braking distance calculation is not suitable for CRH. In this paper, a more accurate brake distance of CRH locomotive has been calculated by using the calculus form of the kinematics formulas and verified by real data.
