Electroactive Metal–Organic Frameworks Enabling Unidirectional Electrochemical Capacitors and Logic Gates (MOF‐CAPode)

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
MOF‐CAPodes are introduced by pairing various p‐MOFs with an n‐MOF as electrode materials in a battery‐like assembly. The devices achieve high figures of merit (RRI = 23.5; RRII = 94.4%) and perform excellently in prototypical logic gates (AND, OR) highlighting a new direction for ionological systems based on electroactive MOFs.

A Soft Matrix Microenvironment Promotes Laterally Spreading Tumors via Oxidative Phosphorylation‐Dependent Cell Adhesion

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Laterally spreading tumors (LSTs) are precancerous colorectal lesions characterized by a flat morphology. This study reveals a mechanochemical pathway through which a soft matrix microenvironment diminishes spatial constraints in intestinal adenomas. This process promotes deficiencies in tight junction proteins, mediated by the mechanoreceptor ADORA2B ...

Assessment and preliminary design of an energy buffer for regenerative braking in electric vehicles [PDF]

open access: yes
Energy buffer systems, capable of storing the vehicle energy during braking and reusing this stored energy during acceleration, were examined. Some of these buffer systems when incorporated in an electric vehicle would result in an improvement in the ...

Tumor‐Intrinsic ARHGEF3 Enhances Antitumor Immunity by Promoting T‐Cell Infiltration and Limiting Myeloid Cell‐Mediated Immunosuppression

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ARHGEF3 is broadly downregulated across human cancers and correlates with patient prognosis. Tumor‐intrinsic ARHGEF3 activates the RHOA–ROCK–PTEN cascade to inhibit AKT signaling, thereby promoting chemokine‐driven T‐cell infiltration and relieving lipid‐mediated myeloid immunosuppression.

CFD analysis of the main operating parameters for a complete braking friction system under transient working conditions

open access: yesInternational Journal of Thermofluids
A braking system represents a very complex physical system to be properly modelled since it involves the solution of multiphase flow and thermal distribution and multi-body motions under dynamic operating conditions.

Trained Memory of Uterine Macrophages Improves Subsequent Pregnancy Outcomes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study identifies that pregnancy imprints a durable, pregnancy‐specific form of trained immune memory in uterine macrophages, marked by the emergence of LILRB3+/PIR‐B+ cells that expand across gestations, acquire a tolerogenic and metabolically rewired phenotype, and actively protect against inflammatory pregnancy loss in mice.

Light‑Driven Propulsion of Graphene Aerogels in Microgravity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Ultralight graphene aerogels convert laser light into thrust. Parabolic‐flight experiments directly compare their motion in microgravity and at 1 g, revealing order‐of‐magnitude enhancements in distance, velocity, and transient thrust when weight and friction are removed (∼50 times enhancement).
