Hardware acceleration of number theoretic transform for zk‐SNARK

open access: yesEngineering Reports, EarlyView., 2023
An FPGA‐based hardware accelerator with a multi‐level pipeline is designed to support the large‐bitwidth and large‐scale NTT tasks in zk‐SNARK. It can be flexibly scaled to different scales of FPGAs and has been equipped in the heterogeneous acceleration system with the help of HLS and OpenCL.

Cardiorespiratory optimization during improvised singing and toning

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2017
We evaluated the effect of different forms of singing on cardiorespiratory physiology, and we aimed at disentangling the role of breathing from that of vocal production. Cardiorespiratory recordings were obtained from 20 healthy adults at rest and during:

Modulation of auditory cortex response to pitch variation following training with microtonal melodies

open access: yesFrontiers in Psychology, 2012
We tested changes in cortical functional response to auditory configural learning by training ten human listeners to discriminate micromelodies (consisting of smaller pitch intervals than normally used in Western music).

Interhemispheric connectivity influences the degree of modulation of TMS-induced effects during auditory processing

open access: yesFrontiers in Psychology, 2011
Repetitive TMS (rTMS) has been shown to interfere with many components of language processing, including semantic, syntactic and phonologic. However, not much is known about its effects on primary auditory processing, especially its action on Heschl’s ...

Structural Covariance Analysis Reveals Differences Between Dancers and Untrained Controls

open access: yesFrontiers in Human Neuroscience, 2018
Dancers and musicians differ in brain structure from untrained individuals. Structural covariance (SC) analysis can provide further insight into training-associated brain plasticity by evaluating interregional relationships in gray matter (GM) structure.

Neuroanatomical correlates of musical transposition in adolescents: A longitudinal approach

open access: yesFrontiers in Systems Neuroscience, 2013
Musicians are trained in melodic transposition, the skill of extracting the pitch interval structure and moving it into different keys. This ability to recognize whether a melody is the same or altered when it is played back in a different key is ...

Task decomposition: a framework for comparing diverse training models in human brain plasticity studies

open access: yesFrontiers in Human Neuroscience, 2013
Training studies, in which the structural or functional neurophysiology is compared before and after expertise is acquired, are increasingly being used as models for understanding the human brain’s potential for reorganization. It is proving difficult to

Assessment of the Wind Variability on the Large Tropical Aquatic Systems: Comparison Between WRF and BRAMS Models [PDF]

open access: yesAnuário do Instituto de Geociências, 2018
Wind patterns are important in various fields of study such as pollutant dispersion, evapotranspiration, humidity, advection of heat, wind use etc. In hydroelectric reservoirs, the winds can be influenced by the surface energy balance.
