The rank pricing problem: Models and branch-and-cut algorithms
One of the main concerns in management and economic planning is to sell the right product to the right customer for the right price. Companies in retail and manufacturing employ pricing strategies to maximize their revenues. The Rank Pricing Problem considers a unit-demand model with unlimited supply and uniform budgets in which customers have a rank ...

The Robust Steiner Team Orienteering Problem with Decreasing Priorities under budgeted uncertainty
Post-disaster relief operations have gained attention over the past decade, focusing on enhancing resilience in labor and social environments. This work introduces the Robust Steiner Team Orienteering Problem with Decreasing Priorities (R-STOP-DP) to ...

Dispersion modeling and analysis for multilayered open coaxial waveguides
This paper presents a detailed modeling and analysis regarding the dispersion characteristics of multilayered open coaxial waveguides. The study is motivated by the need of improved modeling and an increased physical understanding about the wave ...

A Branch-Price-and-Cut algorithm for the Multi-Commodity two-echelon Distribution Problem
In the Multi-Commodity two-echelon Distribution Problem (MC2DP), multiple commodities are distributed in a two-echelon distribution system involving suppliers, distribution centres and customers.

Integrability in gravity from Chern-Simons theory
This paper presents a new perspective on integrability in theories of gravity. We show how the stationary, axisymmetric sector of General Relativity can be described by the boundary dynamics of a four-dimensional Chern-Simons theory.

Branch-and-Cut Algorithms for Colorful Components Problems
We tackle three optimization problems in which a colored graph, where each node is assigned a color, must be partitioned into colorful connected components. A component is defined as colorful if each color appears at most once. The problems differ in the objective function, which determines which partition is the best one.

Branch cuts: writing, editing, and ramified complexities
As I was preparing my tenure application, the University of Wisconsin Board of Regents voted to redefine tenure, removing many of the institution's historical protections. Reevaluating my career priorities in light of these changes and a resurgent two-body problem, I recognized that my fundamental goal was communicating mathematical ideas.

Full-potential modeling of blade-vortex interactions [PDF]
A comparison is made of four different models for predicting the unsteady loading induced by a vortex passing close to an airfoil. (1) The first model approximates the vortex effect as a change in the airfoil angle of attack.

On-shell functions on the Coulomb branch of $$\mathcal{N}$$ = 4 SYM
We study on-shell functions in the kinematic space for the Coulomb branch of $$\mathcal{N}$$ = 4 SYM. We construct BCFW bridges that help us build bigger on-shell functions.
