Measurement of theD→ππ branching fractions

open access: yesPhysical Review Letters, 1993
Using data from CLEO II at the Cornell Electron Storage Ring we provide a new measurement of the branching fraction for [ital D][sup 0][r arrow][pi][sup +][pi][sup [minus]], and we present the first measurements of [ital D][sup 0][r arrow][pi][sup 0][pi][sup 0] and of [ital D][sup +][r arrow][pi][sup +][pi][sup 0], which is due to an isospin changing ...

Observation of χ cJ J = 0 1 2 → p p ¯ ηη $$ {\chi}_{cJ}\left(J=0,1,2\right)\to p\overline{p}\eta \eta $$

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
Using (2712.4 ± 14.3) × 106 ψ(3686) candidates collected by the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII storage ring, the decays χ cJ J = 0 1 2 → p p ¯ ηη $$ {\chi}_{cJ}\left(J=0,1,2\right)\to p\overline{p}\eta \eta $$ are observed for the first time ...

The Gut–Heart Axis in Systemic Sclerosis: Evidence From a Large Prospective Early Disease Cohort

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Objective Cardiac involvement significantly impacts prognosis in systemic sclerosis (SSc), highlighting the need for early risk stratification. Gastrointestinal (GI) symptoms are common and often manifest early. Emerging data suggest a link between GI and cardiac manifestations, possibly through shared mechanisms like dysautonomia.

Fractional branching processes

open access: yes, 2011

Potential of discovering Ξcc+ in Λb decays

open access: yesPhysics Letters B
We propose to search for Ξcc+ in the decay Λb→Ξcc+D−, which serves as a tagged and reconstructible source of Ξcc+. A possible fully charged final state is [(pK−K−π+)Ξc0π+]Ξcc+(K+π−π−)D−, where the subscripts indicate the parent hadron in the decay chain.

Determinants of Body Mass Index in Early Systemic Sclerosis: Implications for Nutritional Risk Stratification

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Objective Gastrointestinal (GI) involvement can lead to malnutrition in patients with systemic sclerosis (SSc). Body mass index (BMI) remains the most widely used marker to screen nutritional status. We aimed to identify predictors of lower BMI in patients with SSc. Methods Patients with SSc from a prospective US cohort meeting 2013 American College of

Clinical Validation of Artificial Intelligence (AI)‐based Cartilage Segmentation Predicting Knee Replacement

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, Accepted Article.
Objective For cartilage morphology to serve as a scalable endpoint in clinical trials, analyses should be performed automatically without human interaction. To clinically validate artificial intelligence (AI)‐based analysis, we studied cartilage loss from MRI prior to knee replacement.

Affecting the Properties of Copper–Graphene Electroconductive Composite by Severe Plastic Deformation

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Copper‐based composites enhanced with carbon feature convenient mechanical properties and favorable electric conductivity. Processing via deformation and thermomechanical treatments can introduce advantageous microstructures further enhancing their performance. Herein, copper–graphene powder‐based composites are directly consolidated via rotary swaging
