Absolute D hadronic branching fractions

Nuclear Physics B - Proceedings Supplements, 2006
CLEO's recent measurement of absolute hadronic D branching fractions is presented. It poses a considerable improvement with respect to previous measurements, which will be of significant impact to other experiments utilizing our branching fractions. Furthermore, the cross-sections σ ( e + e − → D + D − ) and σ ( e + e

Branching Fraction Measurements

2013
The branching fraction measurements are performed as blind analyses. The reconstruction and selection procedures, the methods to extract the signal, and the determination of reconstruction efficiencies are developed and refined using Monte Carlo simulations, data distributions in sidebands and control samples on data.

Elution column fractionation of branched polyethylene

Journal of Applied Polymer Science, 1968
AbstractIn a systematic study of the elution column fractionation of a well characterized branched polyethylene sample it was found that one of the most important factors contributing to the efficiency was the composition selected for the p‐xylene‐butyl cellosolve eluting mixture.

Branching fraction measurements of B→ηcK decays

2004
We study the decays B+ → ηcK+ and B0 → ηcK0, where the ηc is reconstructed in the KS0K ±π∓ and K+K- π0 decay modes. Results are based on a sample of 86 B B̄ pairs collected with the BABAR detector at the SLAC e+e- B Factory. We measure the product of branching fractions B(B+ → ηcK+) ×B(ηc→KK̄π)= (7.40±0.50±0.70)×10-5 and B(B 0→ηcK0) ×B(ηc→KK̄π)=(6.48±0.

Branched polyethylenes fractionated in supercritical propane

Macromolecular Research, 2010
A series of polyethylenes (PEs), were synthesized in the presence of a palladium catalyst containing bulky diimine ligands (VERSIPOL™) yielding amorphous PEs. The different PE samples were characterized by Size Exclusion Chromatography (SEC) with on line light scattering, NMR, viscometry or small angle neutron scattering (SANS) techniques to assess the

Measurement of the B- -> D0 K*- branching fraction

2006
From a sample of 232x10^6 Upsilon(4S)-> B anti-B events collected with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II B Factory in 1999-2004, we measure the B- ->D0 K(892)*- decay branching fraction using events where the K*- is reconstructed in the KS0 pi- mode and the D0 in the K-pi+, K-pi+pi0, and K-pi+pi+pi- channels: B(B--> D0 K(892)*-)=(5.29 +/- 0.30(stat ...

Prospects for improved $_c$ branching fractions

2012
The experimental uncertainty on the branching fraction $\b( _c \to p K^- ^+) = (5.0 \pm 1.3)%$ has not decreased since 1998, despite a much larger data sample. Uncertainty in this quantity dominates that in many other quantities, including branching fractions of $ _c$ to other modes, branching fractions of $b$-flavored baryons, and fragmentation ...
