On the stability of branching continued fractions

Journal of Mathematical Sciences, 1996
We study two aspects of the stability problem for various types of branching fractions using the domains of the elements, the region of convergence, and limit-periodic fractions.

Discovering branching and fractional dependencies in databases

Data & Knowledge Engineering, 2008
The discovery of dependencies between attributes in databases is an important problem in data mining, and can be applied to facilitate future decision-making. In the present paper some properties of the branching dependencies are examined. We define a minimal branching dependency and we propose an algorithm for finding all minimal branching ...

K−-decay branching fractions

Il Nuovo Cimento, 1964
We report here a determination of the K−-decay branching fractions for the modes « μ2 », « π2 », « τ » and « 3-body ». The decay fractions,fi(K−), are compared with all available values of their equivalents for K+-decay. Our determination agrees well with the emulsion results, and disagress with the recent Xe results by approximately 2 standard ...

Branching Fraction Measurements

2013
The branching fraction measurements are performed as blind analyses. The reconstruction and selection procedures, the methods to extract the signal, and the determination of reconstruction efficiencies are developed and refined using Monte Carlo simulations, data distributions in sidebands and control samples on data.

Measurement of the branching fraction for B- --> D0 K*-

2004
We present a measurement of the branching fraction for the decay B-→D0K*- using a sample of approximately 86×10^6 BB̅ pairs collected by the BABAR detector from e+e- collisions near the Υ(4S) resonance. The D0 is detected through its decays to K-π+, K-π+π0, and K-π+π-π+, and the K*- through its decay to KS0π-.

Measurement of the branching fraction for B+- --> chi_c0 K+-

2004
We present a measurement of the branching fraction of the decay B ±→χc0K± sample of 89×106 BB̄ pairs collected by the BABAR detector at the SLAC PEP-II asymmetric-energy B factory. The χc0 meson is reconstructed through its two-body decays toπ+ π- and K+K-.

Beta-branching fraction of117Cd isomers and it branching of117mIn

Journal of Radioanalytical and Nuclear Chemistry Articles, 1987
Using radiochemical and gamma spectrometric technique the branching fractions in the beta decay of117Cd isomers and the internal transition branching of117mIn have been established. The beta branching fraction of117gCd→117gIn was obtained as 0.86±0.06 and the value of117mCd→117gIn was found to be less than 1%.

Measurement of the B- -> D0 K*- branching fraction

2006
From a sample of 232x10^6 Upsilon(4S)-> B anti-B events collected with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II B Factory in 1999-2004, we measure the B- ->D0 K(892)*- decay branching fraction using events where the K*- is reconstructed in the KS0 pi- mode and the D0 in the K-pi+, K-pi+pi0, and K-pi+pi+pi- channels: B(B--> D0 K(892)*-)=(5.29 +/- 0.30(stat ...
