Branching bisimulation for context-free processes [PDF]
The branching bisimulation defined by Van Glabbeek and Weijland takes care of preserving the branching structure of processes even though silent actions are taken. Branching bisimulation is obviously decidable for finite state processes.

Fractional branching processes

An algebra for branching processes
International audience—The unfolding process of Petri Nets produces a set of causal nets where nodes are conditions or events and arcs express relations of causality, conflict or concurrency called branching processes. We propose in this paper an algebra

Identified through the use of statistical design of experiments and metallographic investigation, this study exposes the stochastic origins of intergranular cracks in blown powder laser beam directed energy deposition additive manufacturing of pure molybdenum. It further demonstrates a successful crack mitigation approach with direct correlation to the

Fostering Innovation: Streamlining Magnetocaloric Materials Research by Digitalization
Magnetocaloric cooling (MCE) is an environmentally friendly refrigeration method with great potential. Optimizing MCE materials involves the preparation and screening of large quantities of samples, which in turn generates a large amount of data. A digitalization approach is presented that uses ontologies, knowledge graphs, and digital workflows to ...

Hydrogen‐Assisted Fracture of Iron‐Based Fe–Ni–Al Alloys
Principal relations and fracture mechanisms of single‐phase and precipitate‐strengthened Fe–Ni–Al alloys subjected to prior electrochemical hydrogen charging are identified. The mechanisms of hydrogen effect on strength and microhardness are discussed, including hydrogen‐induced increase in microhardness and the role of hydrogen in fracture behavior ...

The Sucrose Regulation of Plant Shoot Branching
The branching characteristics of plants represent crucial agronomic traits that significantly influence both yield and economic value. The formation of branches involves several stages, including the initiation of axillary meristems and the activation ...
