Artesunate Inhibits Neointimal Hyperplasia by Promoting IRF4 Associated Macrophage Polarization
This study shows that macrophage interferon regulatory factor 4 (IRF4) improved arterial injury‐induced neointimal hyperplasia by promoting of M2 polarization via up‐regulating krüppel‐like factor 4 (KLF4) in rodent and nonhuman primate models. Notably, artesunate is identified as a potent inducer of IRF4 in macrophages, and proposed as a promising ...

Advanced neoteleost fishbones, such as medaka, challenge bone adaptation strategies. While zebrafish bones contain osteocyte‐mediated porosity, medaka bones lack it, raising questions about alternative reinforcement mechanisms. Using advanced imaging, this study reveals higher residual compressive strains in medaka bone, suggesting an adaptation that ...

This study develops an integrated platform for real‐time, on‐the‐fly imaging of focused ultrasound‐induced cell ablation and responses at cellular and subcellular levels. It reveals that focused ultrasound could induce cellular mechanolysis through subcellular cavitation bubbles growing under confined contact with cells.

By investigating auditory hyperexcitability in a mouse model for hereditary deafness, this study identified a subpopulation of afferent neurons of the auditory nerve marked by Otogl expression. Despite their apparently normal hearing, Otogl+/− mice display poor activation of afferent neurons processing loud sounds and an elevation of the middle the ear

The GhWL1‐GhH1‐GhGA2OX1 Transcriptional Module Regulates Cotton Leaf Morphology
This study identified GhWL1 as a key gene involved in regulating leaf development through analysis of a T‐DNA insertion mutant. The GhWL1‐GhH1 complex is shown to positively regulate GhGA2OX1 by directly binding to its promoter, thereby establishing the GhWL1‐GhH1‐GhGA2OX1 module as a critical pathway in leaf development.

Mitochondria across the entire neuromuscular system have been comprehensively reconstructed at different developmental stages using 3D electron microscopy. Fundamental structural principles related to synaptic function are preserved across development, and these morphologies are adapted to ensure effective neural circuit function.

Left-continuous random walk on $\mathbb{Z}$ and the parity of its hitting times [PDF]
When it comes to random walk on the integers $\mathbb{Z}$, the arguably first step of generalization beyond simple random walk is the class of one-sidedly continuous random walk, where the stepsize in only one direction is bounded by 1. Moreover, the time until state 0 is hit by left-continuous random walk on $\mathbb{Z}$ has a direct connection to the
