Janus ABJM models with mass deformation
We construct a large class of N=3 $$ \mathcal{N}=3 $$ Janus ABJM models with mass deformation, where the mass depends on a spatial (or lightcone) coordinate.

Mirror dualities with four supercharges
We consider 3d N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 2 non-abelian Hanany-Witten brane setups with chiral flavor symmetry. We propose that the associated field theories are quivers with improved bifundamentals, instead of standard bifundamentals.

4d crystal melting, toric Calabi-Yau 4-folds and brane brick models
We introduce a class of 4-dimensional crystal melting models that count the BPS bound state of branes on toric Calabi-Yau 4-folds. The crystalline structure is determined by the brane brick model associated to the Calabi-Yau 4-fold under consideration or,

Gravity in spacetimes with cosmological constants [PDF]
This thesis is composed of two parts: gravity in the spacetime with a negative/positive cosmological constant. The first part, which is the negative case, devotes to constructing the IIB supergravity dual solution in AdS/CFT correspondence for N = (1, 0)

Aspects of hydrodynamics in AdS/CMT [PDF]
Condensed matter theory is the study of systems at finite density. In this thesis we will attempt to argue that gauge-gravity dualities can give deep and meaningful insights into the behaviour of strongly coupled condensed matter systems. The first three
