Divergent Neural Mechanisms of Self‐Concerned and Prosocial Decision‐Making Under High and Low Cognitive Loads

open access: yesHuman Brain Mapping, Volume 46, Issue 11, 01 August 2025.
High cognitive load increased willingness to sacrifice personal interests for oneself and others. Neural correlates differed: the left insula was linked to self‐concern, while mentalizing regions, including bilateral TPJ, predicted prosocial behavior, highlighting distinct mechanisms under cognitive constraints.

Tracheoesophageal Voicing Following Resistance‐Based Dysphagia Rehabilitation: An Exploratory Multidimensional Assessment

open access: yesHead &Neck, Volume 47, Issue 8, Page 2209-2222, August 2025.
ABSTRACT Background This exploratory study investigated tracheoesophageal voicing following 6 weeks of resistance‐based dysphagia rehabilitation with the SEA2.0, using a multidimensional assessment approach. Methods Twenty laryngectomized participants were assessed at T0 (baseline), T1 (after 6 weeks training), and T2 (after 8 weeks rest).

Connotative Congruency Effect Between Instrumental Timbre and Visual Design Features on Consumer Decision‐Making

open access: yesPsychology &Marketing, Volume 42, Issue 8, Page 2136-2165, August 2025.
ABSTRACT Conducting online, controlled laboratory, and more realistic laboratory experiments, this study investigates how the connotative congruency between instrumental timbre and visual design affects consumer evaluation and choice behavior.
