Effects of brassinolide on the growing of rice plants

open access: yesJournal of Pesticide Science, 2021
Brassinosteroids are plant steroid hormones that are essential for plant growth. When germinated rice seeds were treated with brassinolide (BL), stems were elongated and root spiral formation was observed at 5 nM of BL. Such root spiral formation was not induced by other plant hormones such as auxin and gibberellin.

Comparative Physiological and Proteomic Analyses Reveal the Mechanisms of Brassinolide-Mediated Tolerance to Calcium Nitrate Stress in Tomato

open access: yesFrontiers in Plant Science, 2021
Secondary salinization caused by the overaccumulation of calcium nitrate [Ca(NO3)2] in soils due to excessive fertilization has become one of the major handicaps of protected vegetable production. Brassinolide, a bioactive plant steroid hormone, plays an

Identification of differentially expressed miRNAs and their target genes in response to brassinolide treatment on flowering of tree peony (Paeonia ostii)

open access: yesPlant Signaling & Behavior, 2022
Tree peony is a famous flower plant in China, but the short and concentrated flowering period limits its ornamental value and economic value. Brassinolide (BR) plays an important role in plant growth and development including flowering. There have been a

Functional study of CYP90A1 and ALDH3F1 gene obtained by transcriptome sequencing analysis of Brassica napus seedlings treated with brassinolide

open access: yesFrontiers in Plant Science, 2022
Sclerotinia disease and weeds of Brassica napus greatly reduce crop yields. However, brassinolides can improve the resistance of plants to sclerotinia diseases and herbicides.

Brassinolide promotes interaction between chloroplasts and mitochondria during the optimization of photosynthesis by the mitochondrial electron transport chain in mesophyll cell protoplasts of Arabidopsis thaliana

open access: yesFrontiers in Plant Science, 2023
The current experimental data unveils the role of brassinolide (BL), a phytohormone of class brassinosteroids (BRs), in augmenting the cross-talk between the mitochondrial electron transport chain (mETC) and chloroplasts to strengthen the efficiency of ...
