Room‐Temperature Tuning of Electrical Conductivity in Single MoS2 Flakes via Nanoscale Amorphization by Focused Ion Beam

Focused ion beam (FIB) patterning enables on‐chip amorphization of high‐aspect ratio MoS2 monolayers into complex geometries with tunable electrical properties. By controlling the ion dose, conductive pathways as narrow as 700 nm are formed, allowing precise modulation of local conductivity.

Photoredox‐Catalyzed Synthesis of a Novel Class of Fluoroalkyl Pyrazolones

A photoredox strategy enables regioselective synthesis of fluoroalkyl 2‐pyrazolin‐5‐ones via radical addition and cyclization. This mild, metal‐free method shows a broad substrate scope, operates in batch and flow systems, and offers a sustainable approach to fluorinated heterocycles with potential applications in medicinal chemistry.
