Spatial biology in cancer epigenetics
Spatial epigenomics combines molecular profiling with tissue architecture to reveal how gene regulation is organized within intact tissues. In cancer, these technologies uncover the mechanisms driving tumor heterogeneity and microenvironmental interactions, opening new opportunities for biomarker discovery and precision medicine.

Mendelian randomization analysis reveals the causal relationship between immune cells and leukemia
Background Increasing evidence indicates certain types of immune cells are linked to leukemia, but whether this link is causal has remained unclear.

Summary: Background: Adjuvant endocrine therapy (AET) combining gonadotropin-releasing hormone analogues (GnRHa) with tamoxifen (TAM) or aromatase inhibitors (AI) improves survival in premenopausal women with breast cancer compared to TAM and is ...

Tumour heterogeneity and clonal evolution of metastatic salivary gland cancer were evaluated in two patients with adenoid carcinoma and one patient with myoepithelial carcinoma. Radiology‐guided autopsy enabled multi‐region sampling (total samples n = 149), followed by whole‐genome sequencing and phylogenetic reconstruction (17 tumour samples, 4–7 per ...

This study identifies somatostatin receptor 4 (Sstr4) as a critical tumor suppressor against skin and head/neck cancers (HNSCC, cSCC, and BCC). The loss of Sstr4 removes a check on cell growth, causing hyperactivation of the MAPK‐ERK signaling pathway (↑).

We show that emergence of castration‐resistant prostate (CRPC) is associated with significant upregulation of cyclins that positively regulate cyclin‐dependent kinase 2 (CDK2) and concomitant downregulation of CDK4 cyclins. This renders CRPC cells dependent on the high activity of CDK2, and CDK2 inhibitors synergistically sensitize CRPC cells to both ...

Prognostic role of STMN1 expression and neoadjuvant therapy efficacy in breast cancer
Purpose breast cancer is common and highly malignant, currently, STMN1 was found to be associated with several human malignancies. The purpose of this study is to investigate STMN1 expression in breast cancer and explore its role in disease progression ...

Partial inhibition of focal adhesion kinase (FAK) can paradoxically promote tumor growth, rather than simply producing a weaker antitumor effect than that observed with strong FAK suppression. In breast cancer and melanoma models, targeting p110δ PI3K, particularly in macrophages, counteracted these tumor‐promoting effects, highlighting the importance ...
