A High TCMRR, Inherently Charge Balanced Bidirectional Front-End for Multichannel Closed-Loop Neuromodulation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
This paper describes a multichannel bidirectional front-end for implantable closed-loop neuromodulation. Stimulation artefacts are reduced by way of a 4-channel H-bridge current source sharing stimulator front-end that minimizes residual charge drops in ...

Bridging Dimensions: Demultiplexing Ultrahigh-Density Nanowire Circuits

open access: yesScience, 2005
A demultiplexer is an electronic circuit designed to separate two or more combined signals. We report on a demultiplexer architecture for bridging from the submicrometer dimensions of lithographic patterning to the nanometer-scale dimensions that can be achieved through nanofabrication methods for the selective addressing of ultrahigh ...

Highly Sensitive Electrochemical Biosensor Based on Hairy Particles with Controllable High Enzyme Loading and Activity

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
For the first time, a highly sensitive electrochemical biosensor based on SiO2‐based hairy particles with a grafted PDMAEMA polymer brush containing a quantifiable and large amount of immobilized Laccase is reported. The fabricated biosensor exhibits a sensitivity of 0.14 A·m⁻¹, a limit of detection (LOD) of 0.1 µm, and a detection range of 0.3–750 µm,

Bridging fault testability of BDD circuits [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the ASP-DAC 2005. Asia and South Pacific Design Automation Conference, 2005., 2005
In this paper we study the testability of circuits derived from binary decision diagrams (BDDs) under the bridging fault model. It is shown that testability can be formulated in terms of symbolic BDD operations. By this, test pattern generation can be carried out in polynomial time. A technique to improve testability is presented.

Photoswitching Conduction in Framework Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This mini‐review summarizes recent advances in state‐of‐the‐art proton and electron conduction in framework materials that can be remotely and reversibly switched on and off by light. It discusses the various photoswitching conduction mechanisms and the strategies employed to enhance photoswitched conductivity.

Application of chaotic pulse width modulation control for suppressing electromagnetic interference in a half-bridge converter

open access: yesThe Journal of Engineering, 2014
It was proposed in the former research that chaos control can be used to suppress electromagnetic interference (EMI) in DC–DC converters. Analysis on a half-bridge converter is detailed in this study.

MOFs and COFs in Electronics: Bridging the Gap between Intrinsic Properties and Measured Performance

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Metal‐organic frameworks (MOFs) and covalent organic frameworks (COFs) hold promise for advanced electronics. However, discrepancies in reported electrical conductivities highlight the importance of measurement methodologies. This review explores intrinsic charge transport mechanisms and extrinsic factors influencing performance, and critically ...

Design and comparative evaluation of converter topologies for six-phase switched reluctance motor drives

open access: yesThe Journal of Engineering, 2019
This paper presents a novel converter topology for six-phase switched reluctance motor (SRM) drives, which reduces the number of switches and diodes by half, compared with the conventional asymmetric half-bridge (AHB) converter, and needs no additional ...
