Implementation of wireless control on electrical bridge cranes and gantry crane

2015 23rd Telecommunications Forum Telfor (TELFOR), 2015
The paper presents practical experiences during implementation of radio remote control to the electrical bridge cranes in machine room HEP "Perucica" and gantry crane at a lock on Tisa. In addition to the new way of control, also kept the old way of control from cabine cranes as provided with selector switch. Installation of radio remote control system

Load swing reduction in manually operated bridge cranes

2017 IEEE 3rd International Forum on Research and Technologies for Society and Industry (RTSI), 2017
In this paper, a procedure for control system design of an anti-sway system for manually operated bridge cranes is presented. Specifically, the human operator acts by means of a push-button panel to operate the crane and thus is considered as a disturbance to the closed loop control system that regulates to zero the angle of the load cable with respect

Hart Crane's Bridge to Cathay

American Literature, 1944
THROUGH the waste land of the hollow men Hart Crane groped blindly for a passage to India. If, confused by the currents and crosscurrents of scientific materialism, mystagoguery, and philosophic idealism, he found only the West Indies, he was not unaware of his failure.

Sliding Model Fuzzy Control for a Bridge Crane

2009
A sliding model fuzzy control approach is proposed for localization and antiswing of bridge crane. This two-dimensional system consists of two independent motion systems: X-direction and Y-direction motion system, both of which have the same dynamic model and two subsystems: localization subsystem and antiswing subsystem.

The distribution of intermicrotubular bridges in meiotic spindles of the crane fly

Chromosoma, 1986
The distribution of intermicrotubular bridges in spindles of tipulid spermatocytes (Pales ferruginea, first meiotic division) was analyzed using serial sections of pre-selected cells. Bridges were found in all spindle regions, including kinetochore microtubules and free microtubules in the chromosome fiber.

Dynamic Modeling of the Variable Rope Length 3D Crane System of a Bridge Crane

Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2011
In this paper, a 3D crane system coordinate system is established for a bridge crane in which the rope length is always changing. The position of the grab in the coordinate system is selected as control objectives, while the cable-car displacements and length of the rope are selected as control variables.

Tracking Control for Automated Bridge Cranes

1999
In order to use bridge cranes as large workspace serving robots a control system which guarantee high tracking accuracy is required. I.e., the deviation between a reference track and the actual track has to be minimized.

Bridge Load Rating Practices for Cranes

Structures Congress 2015, 2015
Oversized and overweight Rough Terrain (RT) and All Terrain (AT) commercial cranes are used extensively at dam projects and continuously cross bridges that serve the requirements of the public agencies or private utilities that own them. Depending on the state jurisdiction, these cranes will be trailered or driven under a variety of local and ...
