Eldvatn bridge – Iceland´s first network arch bridge
IABSE Congress Reports, 2021<p>Following an enormous flooding event in the Skaftá glacial river in the south of Iceland in 2015, which severely damaged the existing bridge, a new network arch bridge has been designed, constructed and opened in 2019 to restore a much-needed road connection across the river adjoining the Main Ring Road [1].

Computer Communications, 1988
Abstract In this paper the authors describe local area network bridges and how they may be used to link networks. The functionality and the relative advantages and disadvantages of LAN bridges, compared to other network interconnection methods, are discussed. An alternative source routing bridge for token ring networks is also outlined.

Villamaría Network Arch Bridge
IABSE Reports, 2014<p> This paper focuses on the principal engineering aspects of the Network Arch Bridge over the river Tercero, which joins the cities Villa Maria and Villa Nueva in the province of Cordoba, Argentina. This new bridge replaces the old steel structure located nearby.</p><p> The structural concept of the network arch allows to cross the ...

Proceedings of the Institution of Electrical Engineers, 1968
The paper deals with the equivalence of a bridge section to either a Darlington D section or two Brune sections, and with the extraction of this bridge section from a general reactance and an impedance function. Theorems specifying the necessary and sufficient conditions for section extraction are given in terms of the impedance function.

Bridging Women Rights Networks
Journal of Global Information Management, 2014In recent mass protests such as the Arab Spring and Occupy movements, protesters used social media to spread awareness, coordinate, and mobilize support. Social media-assisted collective action has attracted much attention from journalists, political observers, and researchers of various disciplines.

Generalized Bridge Network for Dielectric Measurements
Transactions of the American Institute of Electrical Engineers, 1940RECENT experience with bridges for the determination of power factor and dielectric constant of small oil samples over a range of frequency has indicated the desirability of improving their characteristics. These improvements or developments have to do principally with changes in circuit arrangements, a generalized representation of the bridge network ...

The Effects of Deteriorating Bridges on Bridges on the Bridge Network Connectivity
Structures Congress 2011, 2011Evaluation of the seismic reliability of aging transportation networks traditionally ignores the deteriorating state of highway bridges. In this study, the present day seismic reliability of bridges in an existing highway network has been evaluated through a time-dependent seismic fragility analysis.

Bridged Reactance-Resistance Networks
Proceedings of the IRE, 1949Consideration is given to the various possible six-arm, six-element RC bridged networks of which the parallel-tee is the previously known example. It is found that six symmetrical RC structures exist having the infinite attenuation property of the parallel-tee and other properties differing from those of this structure.

Bridge and Brick Network Motifs
2006 6th World Congress on Intelligent Control and Automation, 2006Researchers are increasingly acknowledging the important role of complex networks in numerous scientific contexts. In this paper we define two kinds of motifs - bridge and brick - for exploring and predicting network behaviors and functions and for identifying differences among network structures. Based on an analysis of these motifs in genetic, social,
