Blind Image Deblurring Using a Non-Linear Channel Prior Based on Dark and Bright Channels

IEEE Transactions on Image Processing, 2021
Blind image deblurring aims at recovering a clean image from the given blurry image without knowing the blur kernel. Recently proposed dark and extreme channel priors have shown their effectiveness in deblurring various blurry scenarios. However, these two priors fail to help the blur kernel estimation under the particular circumstance that clean ...

Radial Bright Channel Prior for Single Image Vignetting Correction

Lecture Notes in Computer Science, 2014
This paper presents a novel prior, radial bright channel (RBC) prior, for single image vignetting correction. The RBC prior is derived from a statistical property of vignetting-free images: for the pixels sharing the same radius in polar coordinates of an image, at least one pixel has a high intensity value at some color channel.

Unsupervised Low-Light Image Enhancement Using Bright Channel Prior

IEEE Signal Processing Letters, 2020
Recent approaches for low-light image enhancement achieve excellent performance through supervised learning based on convolutional neural networks. However, it is still challenging to collect a large amount of low-/normal-light image pairs in real environments for training the networks.

Image Enhancement Using Bright Channel Prior

2016 International Conference on Industrial Informatics - Computing Technology, Intelligent Technology, Industrial Information Integration (ICIICII), 2016
In view of the low illumination color images, image enhancement technology is commonly used in image processing. In this study, we propose a brightness enhancement algorithm based on the bright channel prior, which focuses on the gray removal. The local patches in sufficient illumination images contain some pixels that have very high intensities in at ...
