Solution‐Processed Mn‐Doped 2d Perovskite Wavelength Shifters for Noble‐Liquid Photon Detection

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 36, Issue 74, 14 September 2026.
Solution‐processed Mn2+‐doped PEA2PbBr4 two‐dimensional perovskite films are demonstrated as large‐area wavelength shifters for noble‐liquid photon detectors. Mn2+ incorporation introduces a broad emission band at ∼620 nm with a large Stokes shift, suppressing self‐absorption and matching SiPM sensitivity.

Defects Induced Instability of Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Energy and Sustainability Research, Volume 7, Issue 9, September 2026.
Defect passivation and grain‐size engineering in perovskite films are achieved through precursor additives, antisolvent additives, interfacial modification, light treatment, surface polishing, and temperature treatment. The synergistic effects suppress defect states and enhance film quality, providing insights into effective strategies for improving ...

Topological Engineering of Donor–Acceptor PDI‐Based Conjugated Porous Polymers for Highly Efficient Discrimination of Methamphetamine and Amphetamine

open access: yesAggregate, Volume 7, Issue 9, September 2026.
A topological engineering methodology is proposed, utilizing the covalent coupling of ACQ and AIE fluorophores to induce a transition from linear to networked architectures. This evolution enhances photostability and expands interlayer spacing, key in promoting the PLQY.

Increasing Respiration Weakens the Carbon Sink Over Two Decades in a Temperate Deciduous Forest

open access: yesGlobal Change Biology Communications, Volume 1, Issue 3, September 2026.
Using a 20‐year eddy covariance record from a temperate deciduous forest, we show that net carbon uptake declined over two decades. Both the trend and interannual variability in net carbon exchange were respiration driven, with warming winters and increasing late‐summer diffuse light driving the trend in respiration.

Triplet Energy Transfer Strategy for Visible Light Activation of Bio‐Based Oxime Esters in Photopolymerization and 3D Printing

open access: yesSmall, Volume 22, Issue 52, 16 September 2026.
Bio‐based oxime esters are converted into efficient metal‐free photoinitiators for 405 nm LEDs and sunlight by Dexter‑type triplet energy transfer from ITX, enabling fast and deep visible light curing, high‐resolution 3D printing and improved cytocompatibility.

Burn Severity as a Driver of Multi‐Year Increases in Gross Primary Production and Solar‐Induced Fluorescence Following a Wildfire in Arctic Tundra

open access: yesAGU Advances, Volume 7, Issue 6, September 2026.
Abstract While climate‐driven increases in wildfires are altering the composition and function of Arctic ecosystems, the impact of burn severity on longer‐term changes in community composition and ecosystem fluxes remains less understood, creating uncertainty in estimates of the biome's carbon storage capacity.
