Integrated Photonic Modulator Circuit With Programmable Intensity and Phase Modulation Response
A platform‐agnostic programmable modulation circuit is introduced to enable tunable and universal optimization of integrated photonic modulators. By flexibly controlling carrier amplitude and phase, the approach adapts to diverse device characteristics without structural redesign.

Brillouin scattering and phonon attenuation in halide glasses: stimulated Brillouin emission
The results of Brillouin light scattering measurements in bulk halide glasses are described. The Brillouin linewidth, intensities and frequency shift measurements allowed the calculation of phonon attenuation, Pockels' elasto-optic coefficients and ...

Polariton-induced transparency in multiple quantum wells probed by time domain Brillouin scattering
The interference of the incident light reflected from the surface of a medium and from a picosecond strain pulse propagating through it results in temporal oscillations of the reflected intensity. This phenomenon, called time-domain Brillouin scattering,

Lattice Resonances in Periodic Arrays of Time‐Modulated Scatterers
This work explores how periodic time modulation alters the collective optical behavior of periodic arrays of scatterers, shedding light on the critical role of collective effects in time‐varying photonic systems and unveiling new opportunities for amplification, active control, and nonreciprocal functionalities.

Broadband Parametric Amplification in AlGaAs‐on‐Insulator Nanowaveguides
Harnessing the exceptional nonlinearity of AlGaAs‐on‐insulator nanowaveguides, four‐wave‐mixing parametric amplification achieves a record net on‐chip gain of 56 dB and a gain bandwidth exceeding 415 nm at telecom wavelengths. These results establish AlGaAsOI as a powerful platform for compact, high‐performance integrated nonlinear optical ...

Controlling Collective Quasiparticle Dynamics Beyond Decoherence in Topological Interfaces
Gold nanoparticles placed above a deformed honeycomb plasmonic crystal couple to a chiral topological interface mode. The pseudospin‐split bands ψ+/ ψ− encode spin‐momentum locking, so emitters radiate directionally along the domain wall and share a common phase.

Theory of Supercritical Coupling and Generalized Bound States in the Continuum
We develop a general theory of supercritical coupling and generalized bound states in the continuum (gBICs), revealing how interference between radiative and absorptive channels enables quality factors beyond conventional material‐loss limits. The framework unifies non‐Hermitian mode coupling, causality‐driven reactive interactions, and interference ...

Covalent Functionalization of NiFe Layered Double Hydroxides using Tris(Hydroxymethyl)Aminomethane
Covalent functionalization of NiFe layered double hydroxides with tris(hydroxymethyl)aminomethane enables controlled growth, enhanced structural order, and improved processability. Temporary TRIS anchoring promotes stable water‐based inks and binder‐free electrode fabrication, leading to enhanced oxygen evolution activity and long‐term stability under ...
