This study demonstrates that the resveratrol analogue, trans‐4,4′‐dihydroxystilbene (DHS), exhibits synergistic anti‐tumor activity with the PARP inhibitor talazoparib, inducing significant ovarian cancer cell death. The synergistic effect of this combination arises from the concurrent downregulation of homologous recombination factors and the ...

A simulation study of the impact of fracture networks on the co-production of geothermal energy and lithium [PDF]
Co-production of geothermal energy and lithium is an emerging opportunity with the potential to enhance the economic potential of geothermal operations. The economic reward of extracting lithium from geothermal brine is determined by how the lithium concentration evolves during brine production.

A low‐cost hydrothermal technique is employed to optimize the synthesis of Mg‐doped α‐Ga2O3 nanorod arrays. Compared to undoped α‐Ga2O3 photodetectors, the photocurrent response is increased by 435%, with a peak responsivity of 34.54 mA W−1. Furthermore, a 5 × 5 PEC‐SBPD array based on Mg‐doped α‐Ga2O3 nanorod arrays is constructed for underwater ...

Anion Exchange Membrane Seawater Electrolysis at 1.0 A cm−2 With an Anode Catalyst Stable for 9000 H
The CAPist‐S1 catalyst containing dense interlayer structure is synthesized by one‐step autologous method. The dense NiFe LDH interlayer inhibits the Cl− ions penetration onto metal substrate, significantly improving the corrosion resistance. The obtained catalyst requires an overpotential of 220 mV at 1.0 A cm−2 and exhibits excellent durability over ...

A bias‐tunable multispectral photodetector based on a TexSe1‐x/GaN homo‐type heterojunction with a unidirectional barrier is proposed. By modulating the bias polarity and magnitude, the device's spectral response range can be extended from UV to the SWIR region.
