Multi‐Module Micro/Nanorobots for Biomedical and Environmental Remediation Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
Multi‐module microrobots (MNRs) have overcome the limitations of single‐module systems by integrating components such as propeller, actuator, manipulator, and imaging modalities. They show promise in biomedical applications, such as targeted drug delivery and tissue repair, as well as in environmental remediation, including pollutant removal.

A Novel Merocyanine Derivative for Probing Polarity at Cubosome Interfaces

open access: yesAsian Journal of Organic Chemistry, EarlyView.
This study develops a synthetic route to C10SP, a polarity‐sensitive sensor embedded in phytantriol‐based cubosomes. Strategic steps included tertiary amine‐mediated amidation to covalently attach a hydrophobic tail and controlled nitrogen methylation to form the iminium moiety within the indolenine scaffold.

Hydrogen‐Bonded Framework With Low‐Density Hexagonal Network Structure Formed by Diethynylterphenyl‐Bridged Macrocyclic Hexacarboxylic Acid

open access: yesAsian Journal of Organic Chemistry, EarlyView.
A single‐crystalline layered framework composed of a low‐density hydrogen‐bonded hexagonal network (HexNet) sheet was constructed using a C3‐symmetric π‐conjugated building block molecule possessing a macrocyclic core expanded by diethynylterphenyl linkers and peripheral six carboxy phenyl groups.

Tuning Antiaromaticity Through Meso‐Substituent Orientation in Core‐Modified Isophlorins

open access: yesAsian Journal of Organic Chemistry, EarlyView.
The antiaromaticity of dithiadioxaisophlorins is controlled by the steric bulkiness of meso‐substituents through their tilt angle relative to the macrocycle. Bulkier substituents maintain larger angles, preserving stronger antiaromaticity, while smaller groups facilitate π‐conjugation with the macrocycle, diminishing antiaromaticity.
